CPython Patches Remote DoS Flaw

A vulnerability in CPython allows attackers to trigger a remote denial-of-service condition; a patch is available.

CERT-FR has issued an advisory regarding a vulnerability in CPython, the reference implementation of the Python programming language, that could be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial-of-service condition. The flaw, tracked as CVE-2026-6879, affects installations that have not applied the latest security patch released by the Python Software Foundation.
