CPython Flaw Enables Remote Denial of Service
A vulnerability in CPython without the latest security patch allows an attacker to trigger a remote denial of service.
The French national cybersecurity agency (CERT-FR) issued an advisory regarding a vulnerability in CPython, the reference implementation of the Python programming language. The flaw, tracked as CVE-2026-15308, allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service condition on affected systems that have not applied the latest security correction.
No indicators of compromise, threat actor attribution, or evidence of active exploitation were provided in this advisory. Organizations running CPython are advised to consult the official Python security bulletin and apply the corresponding patch as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
