Oracle October 2026 CPU patches dozens of DB flaws

Oracle's October 2026 Critical Patch Update fixes dozens of vulnerabilities in Database Server, Net Services, OLAP and SQLcl enabling remote code execution and data compromise.
CERT-FR has issued an advisory relaying Oracle's October 2026 Critical Patch Update (CPU), which addresses multiple vulnerabilities across Oracle Database Server, Oracle Net Services, Oracle OLAP, and Oracle SQLcl. Affected versions span the 19.3-19.32, 21.3-21.23, and 23.4.0-23.26.3 release lines. The flaws collectively allow an attacker to achieve remote code execution, cause denial of service, bypass security controls, and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data.
The advisory lists 39 distinct CVEs without further technical detail, directing administrators to Oracle's own security bulletin (cpuoct2026) for patch availability and applicability per product/version. No information is provided on active exploitation in the wild; this is a routine vendor patch cycle notification rather than a report of observed attacks.
Defenders running any in-scope Oracle Database Server, Net Services, OLAP, or SQLcl deployment should prioritize applying the October 2026 CPU patches, particularly given the presence of remote code execution and remote denial-of-service vectors, which typically carry the highest exploitation risk in widely deployed database infrastructure.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries live profiles of the CVEs it names. The paid plans add the security research and news reporting the free tier leaves out.
It sits in a corpus of 14,237 reports from 143 sources, 591 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Slack alerts are a paid-plan feature: name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
