Oracle patches 600+ vulnerabilities across product portfolio

Oracle's April 2025 critical patch update addresses hundreds of vulnerabilities enabling remote code execution across enterprise products.
Oracle released its quarterly critical patch advisory on April 15, 2025, addressing multiple vulnerabilities across an extensive product portfolio spanning databases, middleware, enterprise applications, communications systems, and financial services platforms. The vulnerabilities primarily enable remote code execution and affect over 150 distinct Oracle products and components. Affected systems include widely-deployed products such as Oracle Database Server (versions 19.3–23.7), WebLogic Server (12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.1.0.0), Java SE (versions 8, 11, 17, 21, and 24), MySQL Server and related components (versions 8.0.0–9.2.0), GoldenGate, E-Business Suite, and numerous communications and financial services applications. The advisory recommends immediate patching after appropriate testing, establishes a vulnerability management and remediation process, and emphasizes least-privilege account management, user awareness training, and endpoint detection capabilities to mitigate exploitation risk. The scale of the advisory—covering applications deployed across government, financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors—makes timely patching and vulnerability scanning critical for all affected organizations.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.
It sits in a corpus of 13,854 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
