CERT-FR Flags Multiple MongoDB Driver Flaws
Free public brief. Slack alerts on the vendors you run come with the paid plans, and a new account gets three days of them, no card.
CERT-FR advisory details multiple vulnerabilities in MongoDB C/C# drivers, Compass, and libmongocrypt allowing RCE, data compromise, and DoS.
CERT-FR published an advisory consolidating multiple vulnerabilities affecting several MongoDB client-side components: the C Driver (versions 2.5.x prior to 2.5.7 and versions prior to 1.30.14), the C# Driver (prior to 3.13.0), MongoDB Compass (prior to 1.53.1), and libmongocrypt (prior to 1.21.1). The flaws collectively allow an attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution, compromise data confidentiality and integrity, bypass security policies, cause denial of service, perform CSRF-style illegitimate request injection, and conduct SQL injection, depending on the specific component and vulnerability.
The advisory references 14 CVEs (CVE-2026-114643 through CVE-2026-114655, plus CVE-2026-115929) tied to individual MongoDB JIRA security bulletins (CDRIVER-6421, several CSHARP tickets, MONGOCRYPT-963) published around October 22-24, 2026. No detail is given on exploitation status; the advisory is a standard vulnerability notification rather than evidence of active exploitation.
Defenders running applications that embed the affected MongoDB drivers or tools should prioritize upgrading to the patched versions referenced in the vendor bulletins: C Driver 2.5.7+/1.30.14+, C# Driver 3.13.0+, Compass 1.53.1+, and libmongocrypt 1.21.1+. Given the range of impacts including RCE, this should be treated as a routine but important patching cycle for any environment using these client libraries.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries live profiles of the CVEs it names. The paid plans add the security research and news reporting the free tier leaves out.
It sits in a corpus of 14,237 reports from 143 sources, 591 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Slack alerts are a paid-plan feature: name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
