Oracle MySQL multiple vulnerabilities patch advisory
Free public brief. The indicators, the detections with Splunk SPL already written (plus Elastic and KQL where they apply), and a Slack alert the next time this touches a vendor you run are in the app — free account, no card.
Fifty CVEs across Oracle MySQL Server, Cluster, Router and related products enable remote denial of service, data breach and integrity loss.
CERT-FR has published a security advisory documenting multiple vulnerabilities across Oracle MySQL components. The affected products span MySQL Server (versions 8.4.0–8.4.10 and 9.7.0–9.7.1), MySQL Cluster (8.0.0–8.0.47, 8.4.0–8.4.10, 9.7.0–9.7.1), MySQL Router (8.4.0–8.4.10, 9.7.0–9.7.1), MySQL Connectors (9.7.0–9.7.1), and Oracle Enterprise Manager for MySQL Database (13.5.4.0.0–13.5.5.0.0).
The vulnerabilities enable three classes of attack: remote denial of service, compromise of data confidentiality, and tampering with data integrity. No details on individual vulnerability mechanics are provided in this advisory; defenders are directed to Oracle's official July 2026 Critical Patch Update bulletin for technical specifics and remediation steps.
Organizations running affected MySQL versions should prioritize patching according to Oracle's guidance. The scope and number of CVEs suggest a broad quarterly patch cycle rather than targeted zero-days, but the combination of RCE, DoS, and data compromise vectors warrants prompt assessment of deployed instances and expedited patch deployment.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.
It sits in a corpus of 13,853 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
