CERT-FR advisory: Multiple vulnerabilities in Azure Linux

routine vulnerability

Free public brief. The indicators, the detections with Splunk SPL already written (plus Elastic and KQL where they apply), and a Slack alert the next time this touches a vendor you run are in the app — free account, no card.

CERT-FR lists multiple vulnerabilities across Azure Linux container components; patch versions available from Microsoft.

CERT-FR has published an advisory documenting multiple vulnerabilities affecting Azure Linux 3 (azl3) container and Kubernetes-related components. The affected packages include application-gateway-kubernetes-ingress, cert-manager, containerized-data-importer, cri-tools, influxdb, kube-vip-cloud-provider, kubevirt, libyang, packer, prometheus-adapter, rabbitmq-server, and sriov-network-device-plugin. Each component has specific vulnerable versions listed with patched versions available. The advisory references nine CVEs issued on 27 May 2026, though the specific impact of each vulnerability is not detailed in the advisory itself.

Defenders should consult the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) bulletins for each CVE to determine exploitability, attack vector, and required patch urgency. The advisory serves as a rollup notification directing administrators to patch their Azure Linux deployments, particularly those running containerized workloads and Kubernetes infrastructure. Organizations using any of the listed components should prioritize upgrading to the specified patched versions.

What this brief leaves out

This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.

It sits in a corpus of 13,854 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.

A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
