CERT-FR flags PaperCut multi-CVE advisory
Free public brief. Slack alerts on the vendors you run come with the paid plans, and a new account gets three days of them, no card.
CERT-FR warns of multiple PaperCut vulnerabilities allowing remote code execution, data exposure, and XSS; patches available.
CERT-FR issued an advisory covering four CVEs affecting PaperCut Hive, NG and MF print management products. The vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code, bypass security policies, access confidential data, and perform indirect remote code injection (XSS) attacks. No in-the-wild exploitation is mentioned in the advisory.
Affected versions include PaperCut Hive prior to 2.3.0, and PaperCut NG/MF 24.x prior to 24.1.11, 25.x prior to 25.0.13, and 26.0.x prior to 26.0.5. CERT-FR directs administrators to PaperCut's own security bulletin (security-bulletin-sep-2026, published October 23, 2026) for patches. Given PaperCut's widespread deployment in enterprise print management and its history of being targeted by ransomware actors exploiting prior vulnerabilities, defenders should prioritize patching to the fixed versions listed.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries live profiles of the CVEs it names. The paid plans add the security research and news reporting the free tier leaves out.
It sits in a corpus of 14,104 reports from 144 sources, 536 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Slack alerts are a paid-plan feature: name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
