Google patches multiple Android flaws including one actively exploited; update to June 2026 security patch.
Google has disclosed multiple vulnerabilities in Android affecting versions prior to Android 14, 15, 16, and 16-qpr2 in a security advisory issued on 1 June 2026. The vulnerabilities span several impact categories including remote code execution, privilege escalation, data confidentiality breaches, and denial of service. Of particular concern, CVE-2025-48595 is noted as actively exploited in the wild, signaling real-world deployment of at least one attack against Android devices. Google advises all affected users to apply the June 2026 security patch immediately to remediate these issues.
The advisory references over 100 CVE identifiers, indicating a substantial batch update. Defenders managing Android devices should prioritize assessment of their fleet to identify affected versions and apply patches urgently, especially given active exploitation of CVE-2025-48595. Device manufacturers and carriers rolling out monthly security updates should ensure the June 2026 Android Security and Maintenance Release is distributed to all supported handsets without delay.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.
It sits in a corpus of 13,853 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
