CERT-FR Flags Multiple Nextcloud Vulnerabilities

CERT-FR advisory details six CVEs in Nextcloud Server, Files Confidential and Richdocuments enabling data exposure, policy bypass, and remote DoS.
CERT-FR published an advisory covering multiple vulnerabilities across several Nextcloud products, including Server, Collectives, Files Confidential, and Richdocuments apps. The flaws allow attackers to compromise data confidentiality, bypass security policy controls, and trigger remote denial of service conditions. Affected versions span a very wide range of Nextcloud Server releases (versions 22.x through 34.0.x, both community and enterprise editions) as well as specific app versions of Files Confidential (3.3.x, 4.x, 5.x) and Richdocuments (9.x, 10.x, 11.x).
No evidence of active exploitation is mentioned in the advisory. Six CVEs are referenced (CVE-2026-114601, CVE-2026-67400, CVE-2026-77167, CVE-2026-77171, CVE-2026-77172, CVE-2026-77173), each tied to a corresponding GitHub security advisory published by Nextcloud on 27 October 2026. Defenders running any of the listed Nextcloud products should consult the vendor's GHSA bulletins for patch details and upgrade to the fixed versions specified in the advisory as soon as possible given the breadth of affected deployments.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries live profiles of the CVEs it names. The paid plans add the security research and news reporting the free tier leaves out.
It sits in a corpus of 14,359 reports from 144 sources, 627 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Slack alerts are a paid-plan feature: name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
