Apple macOS Security Bypass Flaw Patched

A security policy bypass vulnerability in macOS Sequoia, Sonoma, and Tahoe has been fixed by Apple; CERT-FR urges patching.

CERT-FR issued an advisory regarding a vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Apple macOS (Sequoia prior to 15.7.9, Sonoma prior to 14.8.9, and Tahoe prior to 26.6.1). The flaw, tracked as CVE-2026-65400, allows an attacker to bypass security policy controls on affected systems.

Apple has released security bulletins and corresponding patches to address this issue. The advisory does not indicate evidence of active exploitation in the wild; it is a standard vendor patch notification. Administrators and users of affected macOS versions are advised to apply the available updates promptly to mitigate risk.
