> Qilin ransomware operators claim breach of Open Sports with 4,027 compromised users and 12 employee accounts.

Ransomware.live reports that the Qilin ransomware gang has claimed a breach of Open Sports. The attack compromised 12 employee accounts, 4,027 user accounts, and one third-party employee credential. The threat actors identified 102 records in the victim's external attack surface and 102 DNS records associated with the victim domain. This appears to be a standard extortion posting on a ransomware leak site, typical of Qilin's operational model. Defenders in sports or entertainment sectors should monitor for credential misuse and assess exposure if they use Open Sports services or have relationships with the organization.
