> CERT-FR advisory details three ISC BIND vulnerabilities allowing remote code execution and denial of service; patches available.

CERT-FR published an advisory describing three vulnerabilities in ISC BIND, the widely used DNS server software. The flaws affect BIND Supported Preview Edition versions prior to 9.20.30-S1, BIND versions prior to 9.20.30, and BIND versions prior to 9.21.27. Successful exploitation could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service against affected DNS infrastructure.

The advisory references three separate CVEs (CVE-2026-94300, CVE-2026-96888, and CVE-2026-97313), each with a corresponding ISC security bulletin published 21 October 2026. No in-the-wild exploitation is mentioned in the advisory. Defenders operating BIND should consult the ISC bulletins for patch details and upgrade to the fixed versions as soon as possible, given BIND's critical role in DNS resolution and the potential severity of remote code execution.
