CERT-FR flags Google Pixel patch gap
Free public brief. The indicators, the detections with Splunk and KQL already written, and a Slack alert the next time this touches a vendor you run are in the app — free account, no card.
CERT-FR warns multiple Pixel vulnerabilities allow privilege escalation and data exposure; patch via Google's October 2026 bulletin.
CERT-FR issued an advisory covering multiple vulnerabilities affecting all Google Pixel devices that have not applied the October 5, 2026 security update. The flaws can allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation and compromise the confidentiality of data on affected devices. Six CVEs are referenced: CVE-2026-0198, CVE-2026-55307, CVE-2026-55330, CVE-2026-56906, CVE-2026-56936, and CVE-2026-56952, with full technical details available in Google's own Pixel security bulletin.
No evidence of active exploitation is mentioned in the advisory. The recommended mitigation is straightforward: apply the October 2026 Pixel security patch as published by Google. This is a routine vendor patch advisory rather than a reported campaign or in-the-wild exploitation event.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections with the Splunk SPL and Microsoft KQL already written, the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.
It sits in a corpus of 10,945 reports from 148 sources, 471 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
