SonicWall VPN Client DoS Flaw Patched

A denial-of-service vulnerability in SonicWall Global VPN Client versions before 5.0.0.2008 was disclosed with a vendor patch available.

ANSSI-FR issued an advisory regarding a vulnerability in SonicWall's Global VPN Client affecting versions prior to 5.0.0.2008. The flaw, tracked as CVE-2026-66151, allows an attacker to trigger a denial-of-service condition on affected systems.

SonicWall published a corresponding security bulletin (SNWLID-2026-0010) on August 6, 2026, alongside patches. Organizations using the affected client versions should apply the vendor-provided fixes to mitigate the risk. There is no indication in the advisory of active exploitation in the wild.
