Red Hat Patches Multiple Linux Kernel Flaws
Red Hat issued multiple RHSA advisories fixing numerous Linux kernel vulnerabilities enabling RCE, privilege escalation, DoS, and confidentiality breaches.
ANSSI/CERT-FR relayed a Red Hat security advisory covering a large batch of vulnerabilities affecting the Linux kernel across nearly all Red Hat Enterprise Linux product lines and architectures (x86_64, aarch64, ppc64le, s390x), spanning RHEL 8, 9, and 10 as well as CodeReady Linux Builder variants and various support tiers (EUS, ELS, AUS, SAP Update Services).
The advisory bundles over 20 CVEs disclosed across 2025 and 2026, with impacts ranging from arbitrary code execution and privilege escalation to remote denial of service and unauthorized disclosure of information, along with potential security policy bypass. No public exploitation or proof-of-concept details are mentioned in the source; this is a routine vendor patch aggregation notice. Red Hat has published 18 separate RHSA errata between July 31 and August 7, 2026, each addressing subsets of the affected products.
