Multiple vulnerabilities in PHP versions 8.2-8.5

routine vulnerability technology

Free public brief. The indicators, the detections with Splunk SPL already written (plus Elastic and KQL where they apply), and a Slack alert the next time this touches a vendor you run are in the app — free account, no card.

Ten CVEs affect PHP 8.2 through 8.5, enabling remote DoS, data theft, integrity compromise, and policy bypass.

CERT-FR has published a security advisory detailing multiple vulnerabilities across PHP versions 8.2.x, 8.3.x, 8.4.x, and 8.5.x. The affected versions are: PHP 8.2 prior to 8.2.34, PHP 8.3 prior to 8.3.35, PHP 8.4 prior to 8.4.26, and PHP 8.5 prior to 8.5.11. These vulnerabilities carry a broad impact spectrum, including remote denial-of-service attacks, data confidentiality breaches, data integrity violations, and security policy circumvention.

The advisory references ten CVEs spanning CVE-2025-1218, CVE-2025-14181, and CVE-2026-6103 through CVE-2026-93682. Defenders running PHP in production should prioritize patching to the latest stable releases in their respective version branches. The advisory directs administrators to the official PHP security bulletins for detailed patch information and remediation guidance. No details on active exploitation in the wild are provided in the public advisory.

What this brief leaves out

This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.

It sits in a corpus of 13,853 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.

A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
