CISA published an ICS advisory for Rockwell Automation's OTTO Fleet Manager, disclosing CVE-2026-75112, a CWE-916 issue involving an insufficient work factor in the software's bcrypt password hashing implementation. Versions V2.36.2 and earlier are affected. The weakness does not itself grant remote access, but if an attacker obtains an unencrypted system backup, the weakly hashed credentials within it could be cracked via offline brute-force attacks far more easily than intended.

The vulnerability is not remotely exploitable and CISA states no known public exploitation has been reported. Rockwell Automation has fixed the issue in version 2.36.3 and published advisory SD1791 with instructions for enabling encrypted system backups as an additional mitigation. Organizations unable to upgrade immediately should follow Rockwell's general security best practices, isolate control system networks from business networks and the internet, and use VPNs for any required remote access.

This affects critical manufacturing and transportation systems sectors globally, given OTTO Fleet Manager's use in managing autonomous mobile robot fleets. Defenders should prioritize patching to 2.36.3, enable encrypted backups, and restrict access to backup storage locations to prevent credential harvesting from stolen or exposed backup files.
