low threat

FBI New Orleans and partner agencies conducted a month-long operation against violent crime, resulting in 155 arrests and 54 firearms seized.

This article describes a physical law-enforcement initiative, Operation Clean House, led by FBI New Orleans in partnership with numerous federal, state, and local agencies. The operation targeted violent crime including homicides, armed robberies, carjackings, and shootings across New Orleans over a four-week period in June 2024, using a two-phase approach combining proactive intelligence-driven patrols with fugitive warrant apprehension.

Results included 155 arrests, 54 firearms and 10 firearm switches confiscated, and 39 instances of illegal narcotics seized. The operation relied on intelligence analysis to prioritize the most violent offenders and vetted over 400 arrest warrants down to 76 of the most serious cases.

This is a traditional violent-crime and public-safety law enforcement operation with no cyber threat nexus. It does not involve computer network intrusion, malware, threat actors, or any technical indicators relevant to cyber threat intelligence.
