This article details a law enforcement action, not a cyber incident. The FBI, alongside Canadian, Mexican, and U.S. agencies, conducted 'Operation Dead Hand,' a multi-year investigation into a transnational organized crime syndicate trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin from Mexico through Los Angeles for distribution in the U.S. and Canada.

Two federal grand jury indictments charged 19 individuals, with 11 arrested during coordinated raids on January 30. The operation seized over $900,000 in cash, weapons, and narcotics valued between $16-28 million wholesale. Six defendants remain fugitives, including three Mexican nationals alleged to be wholesale suppliers.

As this is a physical-world narcotics trafficking case with no cyber-network operations, malware, exploitation, or digital infrastructure involved, it falls outside the scope of a cyber threat intelligence brief. No IOCs, vulnerabilities, TTPs, or cyber threat actors are applicable.
