Free public brief. Slack alerts on the vendors you run come with the paid plans, and a new account gets three days of them, no card.
Siemens patched an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Capital Embedded AR Classic that could cause denial of service; no exploitation reported.
CISA republished a Siemens ProductCERT advisory (SSA-055299) describing an out-of-bounds read vulnerability (CVE-2026-89208) affecting Capital Embedded AR Classic. Affected versions include Capital Embedded AR Classic 431-422 (all versions) and R20-11 prior to build 2303. Exploitation could cause abnormal product behavior, instability, or denial of service, with a CVSS v3 base score of 5.3 (medium severity).
Siemens has released a fixed version for R20-11 and is preparing further fixes for the remaining affected product line. No public exploitation has been reported; this is a vendor-disclosed vulnerability addressed through coordinated disclosure with Siemens ProductCERT. Affected sectors per CISA's classification include Critical Manufacturing, Transportation Systems, Energy, Healthcare and Public Health, Financial Services, and Government Services and Facilities, with deployment reported worldwide.
Defenders using Capital Embedded AR Classic should update to the latest patched version where available and apply Siemens' general industrial security recommendations: minimize network exposure of control system devices, isolate ICS networks behind firewalls, and use VPNs for remote access while keeping them updated. CISA recommends standard defense-in-depth practices for ICS environments and reporting any suspected malicious activity for correlation.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries live profiles of the CVEs it names. The paid plans add the security research and news reporting the free tier leaves out.
It sits in a corpus of 13,989 reports from 143 sources, 543 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Slack alerts are a paid-plan feature: name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
