> CERT-FR advisory details dozens of vulnerabilities in HPE Aruba Networking AOS and ClearPass Policy Manager, including remote code execution and privilege escalation.

CERT-FR has published an advisory relaying HPE Aruba Networking's October 2026 security bulletins (HPESBNW05162 and HPESBNW05171), which disclose a large number of vulnerabilities across the AOS network operating system and ClearPass Policy Manager product lines. Affected versions include AOS 10.4.x prior to 10.4.1.14, 10.7.x prior to 10.7.2.7, 10.8.x prior to 10.8.1.2, 8.10.x prior to 8.10.0.24, and 8.13.x prior to 8.13.3.1, as well as ClearPass Policy Manager 6.11.x prior to 6.11.16 and 6.14.x prior to 6.14.1.

The combined set of flaws spans multiple vulnerability classes: remote code execution, privilege escalation, remote denial of service, data integrity and confidentiality violations, security policy bypass, server-side request forgery (SSRF), stored/reflected cross-site scripting (XSS), and SQL injection. Some issues allow an unauthenticated or low-privileged attacker to execute arbitrary code or escalate privileges on affected network controllers, switches, or the ClearPass policy/NAC management platform — both of which are high-value targets given their central role in network access control and segmentation.

No active exploitation is mentioned in the advisory. CERT-FR directs administrators to HPE Aruba Networking's official bulletins for patches and recommends upgrading to the fixed versions listed above as soon as possible, prioritizing internet- or management-plane-exposed ClearPass and AOS controller deployments.
