This article is not a cybersecurity threat intelligence report but a law enforcement public appeal from the FBI seeking help identifying an unknown male, dubbed John Doe 49, connected to a child sexual exploitation investigation. The case was part of the FBI's Operation Rescue Me and the Endangered Child Alert Program, both of which use image analysis and public tips to identify unknown individuals and victims depicted in exploitation material.

As of the December 2024 update, John Doe 49 has been identified, located, and taken into custody.
