> Multiple vulnerabilities in Fortinet management and security products enable remote code execution; CVE-2025-25256 is actively exploited in the wild.

Fortinet has disclosed multiple vulnerabilities across six product lines: FortiSIEM, FortiManager, FortiManager Cloud, FortiOS, FortiPAM, FortiProxy, and FortiSwitchManager. The most critical vulnerability is CVE-2025-25256, an OS command injection flaw in FortiSIEM that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted CLI requests and is confirmed exploited in active attacks. This vulnerability affects all versions of FortiSIEM 5.4 through 7.3.1. Additional vulnerabilities include a privilege escalation in FortiOS Security Fabric (CVE-2025-53744), a double-free memory vulnerability in administrative interfaces (CVE-2023-45584), an authentication bypass in managed FortiOS devices (CVE-2024-26009), path traversal in FortiManager (CVE-2024-52964), and an integer overflow in SSL-VPN bookmarks (CVE-2025-25248). Successful exploitation of the most severe flaws could allow attackers to execute code in the context of the affected service account, potentially leading to data theft, modification, deletion, or account creation depending on account privileges. Organizations running affected versions should prioritize patching FortiSIEM immediately due to active exploitation.
