Citrix NetScaler SAML RCE Vulnerability Patched
Free public brief. The indicators, the detections with Splunk and KQL already written, and a Slack alert the next time this touches a vendor you run are in the app — free account, no card.
A memory overflow flaw in Citrix NetScaler ADC/Gateway configured as SAML IdP or SP could allow remote code execution or DoS; no known exploitation yet.
CIS/MS-ISAC issued an advisory on CVE-2026-107406, a memory overflow vulnerability in Citrix NetScaler Application Delivery Controller (ADC) and NetScaler Gateway. Successful exploitation could grant attackers remote code execution on affected devices or trigger a denial-of-service crash. The vulnerability only applies to appliances configured as a SAML Identity Provider (IdP) or Service Provider (SP), narrowing the affected population to organizations using NetScaler for SAML-based authentication/federation.
Affected versions span NetScaler ADC and Gateway 14.1 and 13.1 branches, including FIPS variants, with specific version ranges depending on whether the device is configured as SAML IdP only or as SAML SP/IdP. There are currently no reports of in-the-wild exploitation, but NetScaler appliances are frequently targeted by threat actors once technical details or patches are reverse-engineered, so prompt patching is recommended.
Defenders should identify any NetScaler ADC/Gateway instances configured for SAML IdP or SP roles, verify version numbers against the affected ranges, and apply Citrix's updates after testing. Standard mitigations include network segmentation, isolating administrative interfaces, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing of internet-facing appliances given NetScaler's history as a high-value target for initial access.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections with the Splunk SPL and Microsoft KQL already written, the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.
It sits in a corpus of 11,167 reports from 148 sources, 495 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
