Fortinet patches multiple product vulnerabilities

CERT-FR advisory details multiple Fortinet vulnerabilities across FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSandbox, FortiProxy and FortiSwitch enabling RCE and privilege escalation.
CERT-FR has published an advisory covering multiple vulnerabilities across a wide range of Fortinet products, including FortiAnalyzer, FortiAnalyzer Cloud, FortiManager, FortiManager Cloud, FortiOS, FortiProxy, FortiSandbox (and its Cloud/PaaS variants), and FortiSwitch. The flaws collectively allow attackers to bypass security policies, cause remote denial of service, execute arbitrary code remotely, perform SQL injection, and escalate privileges. Ten CVEs are referenced, tied to seven distinct Fortinet PSIRT bulletins (FG-IR-26-176, 177, 178, 179, 181, 182, 185) published on 13 October 2026.
Affected version ranges vary by product: FortiOS versions prior to 7.6.9 and 8.0.x prior to 8.0.1; FortiManager prior to 7.4.7, 7.6.x prior to 7.6.7, and 8.0.x prior to 8.0.1; FortiAnalyzer and FortiAnalyzer Cloud across several 7.2.x/7.4.x/7.6.x ranges; FortiProxy prior to 7.6.7; FortiSwitch prior to 7.6.7; and FortiSandbox/Cloud/PaaS prior to 5.0.7 or 5.2.2. No in-the-wild exploitation is mentioned in this advisory. CERT-FR directs administrators to consult the referenced Fortinet PSIRT bulletins and apply vendor patches.
Given the breadth of affected products (core network security, management, and sandboxing infrastructure) and the severity of impacts (remote code execution, privilege escalation), defenders running Fortinet infrastructure should prioritize patching to the fixed versions identified, particularly for internet-facing FortiOS, FortiProxy, and FortiManager deployments.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.
It sits in a corpus of 13,854 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
