Qilin ransomware operators claim breach of Commission de la construction du Quebec with 485 compromised employees.

Ransomware.live, a public ransomware leak tracking platform, reports that Qilin ransomware operators have claimed a breach of Commission de la construction du Quebec (CCQ), a Quebec-based construction industry regulatory body. The operators claim to have compromised 485 employees and 221 users within the organization, along with one set of third-party employee credentials. The attack surface reconnaissance identified 37 DNS records and other external infrastructure details. The breach appears to have been discovered through infostealer malware infections leading to credential compromise and subsequent ransomware deployment—a common attack chain where commodity malware harvests credentials that are then leveraged by ransomware affiliates for lateral movement and encryption. This represents a typical medium-severity ransomware affiliate operation targeting a specific organization rather than a mass-exploitation event.

What this brief leaves out

This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.

It sits in a corpus of 13,853 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.

A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
