> Multiple vulnerabilities in SUSE Linux kernels enable arbitrary code execution, denial of service, and privilege escalation across dozens of products.

CERT-FR has published a security advisory documenting numerous vulnerabilities discovered in the Linux kernel used across SUSE's product portfolio. The affected CVEs span kernel components and can result in arbitrary code execution, denial of service, data confidentiality breaches, and security policy bypass. The vulnerability set impacts a broad range of SUSE products including openSUSE Leap, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLE), SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability, High Performance Computing, and Micro variants across multiple service pack levels. SUSE has released kernel updates across at least 18 separate security bulletins (SUSE-SU-2026 series) between 15 and 24 September 2026 to remediate these issues. Organizations running affected SUSE systems should prioritize applying the corresponding kernel patches as detailed in each product-specific bulletin.
