CERT-FR has issued an advisory covering multiple vulnerabilities in GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE). The flaws can lead to unauthorized disclosure of confidential data and bypass of security policy controls. GitLab has confirmed that CVE-2026-85706 is being actively exploited in the wild, making prompt patching a priority for affected organizations.

Affected versions include GitLab CE/EE 19.2.x prior to 19.2.6, 19.3.x prior to 19.3.2, and versions prior to 19.1.8. GitLab has released patches addressing these issues, referenced in their September 23, 2026 security bulletin. Organizations running self-hosted GitLab instances should upgrade immediately to the fixed versions and review logs for signs of exploitation related to CVE-2026-85706, given its confirmed active exploitation status.
