Six vulnerabilities in AutomationDirect CLICK PLUS firmware enable remote information disclosure, privilege escalation, and denial of service; upgrade to v3.80.

CISA has published an advisory detailing six vulnerabilities affecting AutomationDirect CLICK PLUS programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including C0-0x, C0-1x, and C2-x series models running firmware prior to v3.71. The flaws span cleartext storage of credentials, hard-coded cryptographic keys, broken RSA implementation, predictable PRNG seeds, and authorization bypass. The most severe (CVE-2025-59484 and CVE-2025-55069) achieve CVSS v4 scores of 8.7 and enable remote information disclosure and modification of device settings with low attack complexity and no authentication required. Two additional vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-58473, CVE-2025-57882) permit denial-of-service attacks by exhausting device sessions. A privilege-escalation flaw (CVE-2025-55038) allows low-privileged authenticated users to read and modify PLC variables beyond their authorization scope. Researchers at Nozomi Networks discovered and reported these issues. No active exploitation in the wild has been reported as of the advisory publication date.

Affected organizations should immediately update firmware to v3.80. Pending patching, defensive measures include network isolation, access control restrictions, logging and monitoring, secure backups, and VPN-based remote access where needed. Organizations should evaluate their risk posture and control-system network exposure before applying patches, as ICS environments require careful change management.

What this brief leaves out

This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries its extracted indicators, its detections (Splunk SPL already written, plus Elastic and Microsoft KQL where they apply), the actors and CVEs it names as live profiles, and the vendor research on the same campaign — the primary source the news paraphrased, cited and read directly.

It sits in a corpus of 13,854 reports from 146 sources, 616 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.

A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
