Siemens SENTRON 3NA COM Fuse DoS Flaw
Free public brief. Slack alerts on the vendors you run come with the paid plans, and a new account gets three days of them, no card.
A CVSS 5.8 flaw in Siemens SENTRON 3NA COM Fuse lets attackers trigger denial-of-service via malformed network management messages, no exploitation reported.
CISA republished a Siemens ProductCERT advisory describing a denial-of-service vulnerability in SENTRON 3NA COM Fuse devices with firmware versions below 5.2. The flaw stems from improper verification of the source of a communication channel, allowing an attacker who can reach the device over the network to send a malformed network management message that triggers a DoS condition. Recovery may require the affected network to be re-established to restore normal operation, indicating the impact could persist beyond a simple reboot.
The vulnerability (CVE-2024-7322) carries a CVSS v3 score of 5.8 and affects critical infrastructure sectors including Critical Manufacturing, Transportation, Energy, Healthcare, Financial Services, and Government Facilities, with deployments worldwide. There is no indication of active exploitation in the wild; this is a vendor-disclosed vulnerability reported by Siemens ProductCERT. CISA and Siemens recommend standard ICS network hardening: minimizing network exposure of control system devices, isolating control networks behind firewalls, and using VPNs for any required remote access, following Siemens' operational guidelines for Industrial Security.

What this brief leaves out
This page is the free tier: the write-up, the severity, the names. In the app the same report carries live profiles of the CVEs it names. The paid plans add the security research and news reporting the free tier leaves out.
It sits in a corpus of 13,989 reports from 143 sources, 543 of them written in the last seven days, and it grows through the day.
A new account starts with three days of all of it, no card, then keeps the government and CERT reporting free. Slack alerts are a paid-plan feature: name the vendors you run and Slack hears about the reports that touch them — about forty a week that are yours, not the four hundred that are not.
