> MS-ISAC advisory documents 35 vulnerabilities across Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, and ColdFusion; no active exploitation reported.

MS-ISAC has published advisory 2025-050 documenting 35 vulnerabilities across 19 Adobe products and services, the most severe of which enable arbitrary code execution in the context of the logged-on user. The affected software includes creative suite applications (Photoshop 2024–2025, Illustrator 2024–2025, InDesign ID19–20, Animate 2023–2024, Lightroom 8.2, Dreamweaver 21.4), enterprise software (ColdFusion 2021–2025, Connect 12.8), and 3D design tools (Substance 3D Painter, Modeler, Stager, Dimension, Bridge). Vulnerability classes include out-of-bounds writes, integer overflows and underflows, use-after-free conditions, heap-based buffer overflows, type confusion, null pointer dereferences, and for ColdFusion specifically, OS command injection, improper access control, and path traversal.

Successful exploitation allows an attacker to execute code with the privileges of the logged-in user, potentially installing malware, modifying or deleting data, or creating new administrative accounts. The advisory explicitly states there are currently no reports of these vulnerabilities being actively exploited in the wild. Defenders should prioritize patching in order of system criticality; users running applications with administrative privileges face higher risk. ColdFusion instances are of particular concern given the presence of command injection and access control flaws alongside input validation issues.

## Detection guidance (public sample)

### Adobe Creative Application Spawning Shell or Script Interpreter

ATT&CK: T1203

Adobe creative/3D desktop applications launching command shells, script hosts or LOLBins, consistent with exploitation of a document-parsing memory corruption flaw. Auto-generated starting point — validate and tune in your environment before deploying. IOC matches can false-positive on shared infrastructure and decay as adversary infrastructure rotates.

```yaml
title: Adobe Creative Application Spawning Shell or Script Interpreter
description: Detects Adobe desktop applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,
  Animate, Dreamweaver, Lightroom, Bridge, Substance 3D, Dimension) spawning command
  interpreters or common download/execute LOLBins. Post-exploitation behaviour after
  a code-execution flaw in a malicious file, regardless of the specific CVE.
### ColdFusion Server Process Spawning Shell or Recon Command
ATT&CK: T1203
ColdFusion service process spawning cmd/PowerShell or LOLBins, indicative of OS command injection exploitation. Auto-generated starting point — validate and tune in your environment before deploying. IOC matches can false-positive on shared infrastructure and decay as adversary infrastructure rotates.
```yaml
title: ColdFusion Server Process Spawning Shell or Recon Command
description: Detects the Adobe ColdFusion server process (coldfusion.exe, or java.exe
  running from a ColdFusion install directory) spawning command interpreters or reconnaissance/download
